Yon Crochet is a Toronto-based company building Yon World, a gamified, digital-first learning platform for beginner crocheters. Our free Pattern Trainer teaches complete beginners to read crochet patterns through 40+ illustrated micro-lessons, no account required, and Yon Plus, our video-lesson membership, guides learners along a skill path from beginner to intermediate. Every lesson is mirrored for left-handed makers and localized in English, French-Canadian, and Vietnamese. Learners earn YonCoins as they progress and spend them on their next kit. Original characters anchor the universe across physical kits, yarn in 26 colors, and merchandise. Our focus is removing the intimidation that keeps most beginners from finishing their first project.
